FORMAT FOR EXAM/TEST/QUIZ CORRECTIONS:
1) Write question out.
2) Write answer out. DO NOT JUST GIVE CORRECT LETTER.
3) Each question should include EXPLANATION why your answer was incorrect.
       DO NOT SIMPLY STATE: “My answer was wrong because I chose B when it should be A.”
4) If an explanation of the incorrect answer cannot be given, then write definition of correct answer or explain correct answer.
    EVERY QUESTION SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST 1 SENTENCE EXPLANATION!!!!
5) Include all extra credit/bonus questions.
6) You must re-do diagram/essays if you did not receive full credit

YOUR CORRECTIONS SHOULD LOOK LIKE:

       B. Convection
  Air currents that travel within Earth’s atmosphere do so by convection currents.  Convection transfers energy by density differences. Warm air rises, cold air sinks.

Radiation is insolation or heat from earth.

EXTRA CREDIT IDEAS:
-Portrait/Sketch of famous woman scientist
-1 ½ -2 page essay about woman scientist
-Write a rap/song about a topic in earth sci.
-Write an opinion paper about current E. Sci. topic
- 1 ½ -2 page essay about famous scientist from a different culture
-1 ½ -2 page essay about S.E.T.I.
-Watch the video below. Give a short review of the show(include the scientific tests done on the rock) and what is your opinion on The Roswell Rock?...Is it real?

-Watch the video below. Give a short review of the show(include what scientific tests were done ..there are a few). What is your opinion on The Flatwoods UFO Monster???

-Research and Write an essay about the latest Dinosaur discovery.. The Dreadnoughtus, the biggest creature to ever walk on earth
 -Research and present scientific data regarding the volcano that erupted on September 27th in Japan. Where exactly was it? What type of volcano was it? What came out of it? How many people were injured? What was the name of the volcano? etc.....
-Make clay models of the three different types of volcanoes.
-Collect 7-10 different types of rocks/minerals. Identify each rock/mineral. Include the properties of each rock (the hardness, color, classification[metamorphic, sedimentary, or igneous], cleavage/fracture, streak, etc...) Make a display for the class.
-Teach 5-10 minutes of a class. See Mr. Martin to see what topics are coming up.

The video critiques, rock collection, and teaching 5-10 minutes of class are worth the most extra credit points.

In a few days, I will post some more extra credit ideas....

REMEMBER: MAKE SURE YOUR REPORT IS SCIENTIFIC AND INCLUDES YOUR IDEAS AND OPINIONS!!!!!!
